By the end of the Boot Camp, you’ll have your college list, main essay, and main sections of the Common Application completed, all in the course of a single week!

Initial Consultation:

All families begin with an Initial Consultation at which time an in-depth discussion occurs, helping the parents decide on the best approach for their child. We will happily answer all questions and concerns at this consultation, including which plan might best meet the family’s needs.  This meeting includes:

• Initial assessment of individual college prospects and strategy.
• Answers to your questions relating to the college admissions process.

Common Application Plus Essay and Strategy (CAPES) Program

Our CAPES Program meets each student’s CORE needs with:

• 2 major strategy/planning sessions
• Regular meetings as needed to conceive, write, and edit the Common Application Essay
• Regular meetings as needed to complete the Common Application main sections online
• Supplement Primer: One meeting to discuss supplemental essay strategy and review essay questions

For CAPES families, additional meetings are available with Educational Consultant David Wexler to assist with the preparation of additional applications and essays (billed at an hourly rate). Additional meetings are also available with Certified Educational Planner Susan Wexler for assistance in making the final decision as well as guidance in the event of a waitlist or deferral outcome (billed at an hourly rate).
